Custom wave baffles were suspended from the ceiling in clustered arrangements to create a nautical feel and elevate the soundscape of the Eden Welcome Center’s entrance hall. The team selected Denim and White to echo the surf surrounding the building. “Acoufelt products gave us the opportunity to use suspended baffle shapes that would improve the interior acoustics, as well as add a level of softness and movement to enchantingly draw users through the hallway,” said Amy Smedley, Director at Studio S2 Architects.
