Fern Bay Public School

Acoufelt was pleased to be a part of the new timber learning hub at Fern Bay Public School which included a practical activities area, a quiet room and a new covered outdoor area for the growing school community.

Acoufelt’s solid color FilaSorb™ acoustic panels in a mix of Carrot, Oregano, and Denim were used to cover parts of the wall and ceiling across the school’s collaborative learning spaces. The panels were selected for their NRC value, 60% recycled PET content, and continuation of color in the space. Acoufelt panels being ‘pinnable’ was also a plus. Rapid delivery of all specified materials was extremely important considering a total construction time of 12 weeks, including just 6 weeks of on-site assembly.
