Custom Ceiling and Wall Products

Eve, located on the top floor of the Edge within IQHQ’s Research and Development District (RaDD), is a purpose-built event venue overlooking San Diego Bay. Acoufelt worked with Gensler and Turner Construction to deliver custom Skipping Stones Ceiling Clouds, custom Fracture Wall Panels, integrated lighting, and precise engineering. This collaboration ensured the venue met the project’s design intent while delivering exceptional acoustic comfort for world-class events.

The custom Skipping Stones Ceiling Clouds featured four interior colors: Wine Barrel from the WoodGrain Collection, Ivory from the Premier Collection, and two custom tones in taupe and beige. The clouds were then wrapped in Charcoal from the Premier Collection. Two custom Fracture Wall Panels from the Premier Collection completed the design, one in Grey with no reveal and one in Metal with a one-inch reveal. Life-size prototypes, detailed engineering drawings, and on-site installation support ensured precision and flawless integration of all elements.
