RefinedScience in Aurora, CO, sought to elevate the functionality and atmosphere of its office space by addressing a key challenge: sound control. Partnering with Acoufelt, the design team integrated soft architecture acoustic solutions across four key areas to enhance comfort, clarity, and overall experience.

To support focus and privacy in an otherwise collaborative environment, Fracture, Arch Wall Panels in Granite were installed in offices and conference rooms. These panels absorbed ambient noise, reduced reverberation, and created defined zones that allowed for both teamwork and heads-down productivity.

QuietForm, Celestial A Wall Panels in Almond were installed in the reception area which doubled as a design feature and a sound management tool. The material softened the sharp acoustics caused by hard surfaces, creating a quieter, more welcoming entry for visitors.

The bustling break room needed both acoustic and visual warmth. Canopy Ceiling Clouds in Pearl were suspended in a custom layout that complemented the casual, social nature of the space. These baffles absorbed sound from conversations, appliances, and foot traffic, reducing noise spill into adjacent work areas.
